Squat on a rolled up blanket or cushion, keeping this beneath the buttocks and between the legs. The cushion should be high enough so that the back is not cramped. The head and spine must be straight. Rest the elbows on the knees and place the fingers on the top of the head and the thumbs in the ears. Alternately, the index fingers can be used to seal the ears.
