the words of maimed people and nobody would help them.” This statement of Bābă Bharati slowly entered the mind of the robber and plunged him in thought. He thought that the Bābā was extremely kind-hearted. The Babă was not worried about the loss of his horse. His worry was that in future nobody would show kindness to lame people or maimed people if they came to know of this incident.
The robber did not get a wink of sleep that night. The next morning, soon after sun-rise he went to Bābā's ashram and returned the horse to him. He gave up robbery and led a respectable life afterwards.
