INTRODUCTION
In Haribhadra's works which deal with the four anuyogasi in one form or other, we come across names of several writers and philosophers who may be tentatively grouped as under :
(a) Vaidika (1) Ananta, (2) Avadhūtācārya, (3) Āsuri, (4) īśvarakrşņa", (5) Kapila", (6) Kālātīta, (7) Kumārila, (8) Jaimini, (9) Patañjali (bhāșyakāra), (10) Patañjali (yogācārya), (11) Pāṇini ( grammarian), (12) Puruşacandra, (13) Bhagavadgopendra, (14) Bandhu-Bhagavaddatta, (15) Bhartrhari (grammarian), (16) Vindhyavāsin, (17) Vyāsa, (18) Sabara, (19) Santapana, (20) Sucāru and (21) Suraguru.
(b) Bauddha (1) Dirnāga, (2) Divãkara, (3) Dharmakirti, (4) Dharmapāla, (5) Dharmottara, (6) Bhadanta, (7) Bhadanta-Dinna, (8) Bhadanta-Bhāskara, (9) Vasubandhu, (10) Samantabhadra', (11) Santarakṣita and (12) Subhagupta.
(c) Jaina (1) Ajitayaśas, (2) Umāsvāti, (3) Kukkācārya, (4) Gośālaka, (5) Jinadāsa Mahattara, (6) Jinabhadra Gaņi Kșamāsramana, (7) Deva Vācaka, (8) Bhadrabāhu, (9) Mallavādin, (10) Vădimukhya, (11) Vpddhācārya (P. Vuddhāyariya), (12) Siddhasena and (13) Siddhasena Divākara.
Haribhadra has refered to Pramāṇamimaṁsā, Revanãikavva, Diväkara's Syādvādabhanga, Subandhu's Vasavadatta and Harşa's Priyadarsanā.
Ajitayasas This Sūri is mentioned in the svopajña com. (Vol. II, p. 33) on AJP. From this reference it seems that this is a Jaina
