Sri Anandavimala Sûri succeeded śrî Hemavimala Säri as the 56th Pattadhara He was born in 1547 V. S at Madurga or Idar. His parents' names were Meghāji and Mānekadevi, liis own original name being Våghaji kumara.
In his boyhood, he was sent to a teacher for study.
Once, during his wanderings, Śrî Hémavimala Suri arrived at Idar, and Våghajîkumara was highly delighted at his nectarlike discourses After some time, the Sūri again turned up there.
