Jinabhadra Gani's [The fourth इत्याह-"नवित्यादि" नन्वहो ! D. C.
Acārya :--Who has almitted the theory of entire destruction of an object that you establish transitariness (of an object) like ghata by apprehending its destruction at the end when beaten by ( an instrument like ) hammer ?
Ašvamitra :--If you do not believe in entire destruction fo an object like ghata when beaten by an instrument like hammer, how is it that instead of ghata, its fragments are seen ?
Acărya:-Fragments of ghata are nothing but one of the various paryayas (forms) of ghata itself, existing primarily as earth. Ghata, therefore, does not vanish entirely at that time. If it vanished entirely at the first moment, when struck by hammer, it ought to vanish as earth also. Fragments of the vessel will also cease to exist as a paryāya of earth as a result of that.
Thus, the theory that entire destruction is apprehended at the end, is proved to be logically false. 118 (2413)
