Uttaradhyayana Sutra Sukti
134. He who is not attached by pleasures in this world just like a lotus in the water, him we call a Brâhmana.
135. One does not become a Sramana by the shaving of head, nor a Brâhmana by the sacred syllable ômkara, nor a Muni by living in the woods, nor a Tậpasa by wearing (clothes of) sukha-grass and bark.
