Lord Rṣabhanatha was born in Ayodhya, on the ninth day of the dark half of the month of Caitra - caitra krisna navami.
He was born in the third period (suṣama-duṣama) of the present descending (avasarpiņi) half-cycle when 84 lakh pūrva, 3 years and 82 months were remaining for the start of the fourth period (duṣama-suṣamā).
His height was 500 dhanusa*.
Lord Rṣabhanatha lived for 84 lakh pūrva out of which 20 lakh pūrva were spent as youth (kumārakāla), and 63 lakh pūrva as the King (rajyakāla).
