Ahimsa - Non-Violence Respect, Reverence, Compassion, Forgiveness, In thoughts, Words and Deeds towards all living beings. For this reason Jains are vegetarians.
Anekantvad - Multi Faceted Reality Respect for and seeking multiple view points. Truth has many facets. Jain encourage dialogue and harmony with other communities and faiths.
Aparigraha - Non-Possessiveness Balancing our needs, desires, possessions, while staying detached from these possessions.
The doctrine of Syädväda or relativity (multiplicity of view points) states that the expression of truth is relative to different viewpoints (Nayas). What is true from one
