Gyan Panchami It's name is given to the celebration that takes place on
the fifth bright day in Kartik (the fifth day after Diwali). This day is devoted to worshipping pure knowledge especially old scripture
books and acquiring knowledge.

Pushya Dashami Pushya Dashami is the birthday of Bhagawan Parshvanath. On the 10th day of Pushya, men
and women do Tapasya of 3 day fastingUpavas-Attham and by means of recitation and meditation they try to attain spiritual welfare.
Tirthankar Kalyanak Every Tirthankar has five auspicious events in their lifetime. First is the conception (Chyavan) then the day of the birth (Janma), next comes the sainthood (Diksha), followed by omniscience (Keval-Jnan) and finally the day of salvation (Nirvana). These days are celebrated
with special worshipping and functions.
Local Festivals This relates to an event which takes place locally. For
example, building of a temple would be a day to remember and is celebrated with Pooja and Dhwaja
Rohan on its Anniversary day.
Special Events At Shravanabelagola in Karnataka, Jains celebrate bathing ceremony of colossus of Bahubali every
twelve years with Mastakabhishek.
Kartik Poornima The Chaturmas that begins on Ashadh Chaturdashi
comes to an end on the full moon day in Kartik. After this, the Jain Sadhus and Sadhvis begin their wandering Padyatra, i.e. travel on foot. A pilgrimage to Shatrunjay on this day is considered to be important.
