Rushabhdev is the first Tirthankar and spiritual leader of the present time cycle. He lived thousands of years ago while Jainism is millions of years old. Modern archaeological excavations, however, may provide some clues to the historic city of Rikhava biography, his period, his achievements, and teachings. He taught Asi, Masi and Krushi. The
cultivation of grain started around 7000 BCE in southern Asia. Perhaps, this is proof of the earliest agriculture in Indian subcontinent.
