Do's
1. Recite the Navakär Mantra daily.
2. Respect your parents, teachers, and elders.
3. Be kind to other people as well as to all animals, insects and plants.
4. Be polite. Always remember 'please' and 'thank you'.
5. Have courage to accept your own mistakes and say 'I am sorry'
6. Be tolerant and forgiving to others.
7. Share your toys and books with your friends.
8. Be honest and truthful with yourself and with others.
9. Give generously without any expectation.
10. Be willing to help others in every way you can.
11. Believe in yourself and your ability to reach greatness.
12. Go to Päthashälä on a regular basis and learn how Jainism can help you
become a better person.
DON'TS
1. Do not hurt humans, animals, plants, or insects.
2. Do not lie, cheat or steal.
3. Do not use foul language or be disrespectful.
4. Do not get angry. Do not shout or scream at anyone.
5. Do not gossip or criticize others behind their back.
6. Do not look down upon others. Do not tease or make fun of others.
7. Do not judge people.
8. Do not blame others when things do not go your way.
9. Do not be greedy. Be thankful for what you have.
10. Do not miss an opportunity to help others.
11. Do not take anything without permission.
12. Do not be afraid to ask questions respectfully to your teachers or elders.
