About authorisedly shooting an arrow at one worthy of death, which is given again for killing him to any one unto whom the person worthy of death is consigned and becomes supplicating (lânako) and goes to the middle of the distance, and they shall afford him assistance and enervate him for it, when, through the three words' which he utters, they do not deliver him up again. 63.
