भाव संयोगज नाम के दो भेद भावो के कारण जो नाम प्रसिद्ध होता है, वह भाव संयोगज नाम कहा जाता है। इसके दो भेद हैं
(१) प्रशस्त भाव संयोगज नाम-जैसे-ज्ञान का अभ्यास करने के कारण ज्ञानी, चारित्र ग्रहण करने के कारण चारित्री कहलाता है।
(२) अप्रशस्त भाव संयोगज नाम-जैसे-क्रोध के भावो से क्रोधी तथा लोभ के भावो के कारण लोभी कहलाता है।

TWO TYPES OF
BHAAVA SAMYOGA NAAM Name derived due to association with an attitude is called Bhaava samyoga naam, it is of two types-- ___(1) Prashasta Bhaava Samyoga Naam-Name derived due to association with noble or auspicious attitude, for example-a person indulging in scholarly activities (inan) is called Jnani and a person initiated into ascetic conduct (charita) is called Charitri.
(2) Aprashasta Bhaava Samyoga Naam-Name derived due to association with ignoble or inauspicious attitude, for example-a person having an attitude of krodh (anger) is called Krodhi (angry) and a person having an attitude of lobh (greed) is called Lobhi (greedy).
