४. (प्रश्न) यदि अंगबाह्य श्रुत में भी उद्देश, समुद्देश, अनुज्ञा एवं अनुयोग की प्रवृत्ति होती है, तो क्या कालिक श्रुत में उद्देश, समुद्देश, अनुज्ञा और अनुयोग की प्रवृत्ति है, अथवा उत्कालिक श्रुत में उद्देश आदि प्रवर्तमान होते हैं ?
(उत्तर) कालिक श्रुत में भी उद्देश आदि (चारों) की प्रवृत्ति होती है और उत्कालिक श्रुत में भी उद्देश आदि होते हैं। ___अब यहाँ प्रस्तुत प्रस्थापना की दृष्टि से उत्कालिक श्रुत का उद्देश, समुद्देश, अनुज्ञा

(Question) If Anga Bahya Shrut is allowed to be studied or preached (uddesh), to be revised and memorized (samuddesh), and to be taught (anujna) as also to be subjected to disquisition or elaboration (anuyoga) then is Kalika Shrut (the scriptures that can be studied at specific time) allowed to be studied or preached, to be revised and memorized, and to be taught as also to be subjected to disquisition or elaboration or is Utkalika Shrut (the scriptures that can be studied at any time) also allowed to be studied or preached (uddesh), etc.?
(Answer) Kalika Shrut (the scriptures that can be studied at specific time) is allowed to be studied or preached ___ (uddesh), etc. and Utkalika Shrut (the scriptures that can be
studied at any time) is also allowed to be studied or preached (uddesh), etc.
Now in present context we commence the study or preaching (uddesh), revision and memorizing (samuddesh), teaching (anujna) and disquisition or elaboration (anuyoga) of Utkalika Shrut (the scriptures that can be studied at any time).
