एक हैं। क्षेत्रानुपूर्वी में लोक के ऐसे त्रिप्रदेशात्मक विभाग असंख्यात हैं। इसलिए आनुपूर्वी द्रव्य भी उनके समान संख्या वाले होने के कारण असंख्यात होते हैं।
Elaboration—This aphorism gives the quantum with respect to kshetra (area) of anupurvi (sequential) and other substances as uncountable numerically or inexpressible. This is because anupurvi (sequential) substances occupying three space-points are anupurvi (sequential) also with respect to area (kshetra). Also the divisions of space providing occupancy to aggregates of three or more ultimate-particles (paramanus) are uncountable in the loka (universe) that is constituted of uncountable number of space-points. Therefore, a large quantum of physical anupurvi (sequential) substances, i.e., aggregates of three, four, five, six, and so on up to infinite paramanus (ultimate-particles) can occupy just three space-points of area. As all these substances occupy the same area they are considered one with respect to kshetra (area). Kshetranupurvi (area-sequence) includes uncountable number of such divisions of three space-point area. (१) णेगम-ववहाराणं खेत्ताणुपुब्बीदव्वाइं लोगस्स कतिभागे होज्जा ? किं संखिज्जइभागे वा होज्जा ? असंखेज्जइभागे वा होज्जा ? जाव सब्बलोए वा होजा? _एगदव्वं पडुच्च लोगस्स संखेज्जइभागे वा होज्जा, असंखेज्जइभागे वा होज्जा, संखेजेसु वा भागेसु होजा, असंखेजेसु वा भागेसु होज्जा; देसूणे वा लोए होज्जा। णाणादव्वाइं पडुच्च णियमा सव्वलोए होज्जा। ___ १५२. (प्रश्न १) नैगम-व्यवहारनयसम्मत क्षेत्रानुपूर्वी द्रव्य लोक के कितनेवें भाग __ में रहते हैं ? क्या संख्यातवें भाग में, असंख्यातवें भाग में यावत् सर्वलोक में रहते हैं ?
__(उत्तर) (१) एक द्रव्य की अपेक्षा लोक के संख्यातवें भाग में, (२) असंख्यातवें भाग में, (३) संख्यातभागों में, (४) असंख्यात भागों में अथवा, (५) देशोन (कुछ न्यून) लोक में रहते हैं, किन्तु विविध द्रव्यों की अपेक्षा नियमतः सर्वलोकव्यापी हैं। अनुयोगद्वार सूत्र
