If it is so, others who do not YR O O undertake any planning and efforts, why are not they gods like K N W A F E O you ?” Y NAT H O e ONA The god could not reply to it as Kundkaulik’s statement was based Y o P N O on reason andlogic. O O N WR IP Bhagavan Mahavir had unlimited perfect knowledge and perfect O O Y YI perception. He knew all what had happened. He was happy at R FO S YAP Kundkaulik's firm faith and knowledge of scriptures. He said— WR O L “Kundkaulik ! You have done well. Your firm faith is worthy of W D P S o appreciation.” CyHP S o The underlying idea of Bhagavan Mahavir in giving importance to A P R o Kundkaulik incident was that every follower of spirituality must O L WR A remain firm in spiritual principles and practices. Simultaneously P O O E I he should have adequate knowledge of these principles so that he R P O O is able to present them properly to others. Only then the followers WP oO of other faith cannot overpower him. In fact, by narrating the O 4 EWD ° incident of Kundkaulik, Bhagavan Mahavir inspired all the O 4 EWE followers to gain more and more knowledge and expertise of 0 O 2 spiritual principles. EYD 6 © ra] E Kundkaulik bowed to the Lord and returned to his place. B 6 SE W 4 Kundkaulik moved aheadin his spiritual practices. In the fifteenth E 0) O 4 year he handedover his family and worldly responsibilities to his T o eldest son and engaged himself completely in spiritual practices. O T nae E o His thought-reflection purified at greater speed. He accepted O T 4 R eleven pratimas of a householder (Shravak). In the end he 3 O T + observed Samlekhana for one month—left completely food and L 9 O drinks for one month and died: a peaceful death in equanimity.
