I am O PA A TO warning you again that in case you do not discard your vowstoday, I shall IL N A P encircle your neck thrice, and bite you with my venomousteeth. I shall bite YD O A T P your chest and then you shall meet an untimely end.” N T O S O PA Kamdevdid not feel bewildered even at the threats ofthe Serpentine-god. YN O Then the Serpent-shaped demon-god madethree circles around his neck and O A KI V E 4 O sharply bit him. Due to the dangerouspoison, he felt dreadful pain but even A W then he remained calm andfirm. E 3 O T At last the demon-god felt dejected. He appeared in his original angelic R o O form and bowedat the feet of Kamdev. He further said—“O beloved of gods ! L W O E L The master ofSaudharm-devlok, Shakrendra, had praised your firmnessin G® N A T O spiritual faith. After hearing it, I had cometo test yourspiritual faith. I gave NL oO FA you unbearable tortures. Kindly forgive my sins. You are really praiseworthy.
