जीव की अप्रतिहत गति राजा प्रदेशी पूछता है- “आपके मतानुसार शरीर से जीव भिन्न है। मै यह नही मानता। क्योकि मैने एक अपराधी को पकडकर जीवित ही एक छिद्ररहित लौह-कुम्भी मे डालकर कुम्भी को बन्द करके उस पर लेप लगाकर ताला डाल दिया था। कुछ दिन बाद देखा तो वह अपराधी मर चुका था। किन्तु कुम्भी मे जीव निकलने का कही भी कोई छेद या निशान नहीं मिला।”
समाधान देते हुए केशीकुमार श्रमण बोले-'राजन् । जैसे कोई पुरुष एक कूटाकारशाला मे प्रविष्ट होकर उसे चारो तरफ से हवा बन्द करके भीतर नगाडा पीटे तो उस नगाडे की आवाज बाहर सुनाई देती है या नही?"
राजा प्रदेशी-“देती है।'' केशीकुमार श्रमण-“उस शाला मे आवाज निकलने का कोई छिद्र नही होने पर भी आवाज बाहर आती है, उसी प्रकार जीव अप्रतिहत गति वाला है। उसकी गति कही रुकती नही।"
