तए णं ते कोडुंबियपुरिसा जाव खिप्पामेव सच्छत्तं सज्झयं जाव उवट्ठवित्ता तमाणत्तियं पच्चप्पिणंति।
तए णं से चित्ते सारही कोडूंबियपुरिसाणं अंतिए एयमढे सोच्चा निसम्म हद्वतुटु जाव * हियए एहाए कयबलिकम्मे जाव जेणेव चाउग्घंटे जाव दुरूहित्ता सकोरंट. महया * भडचडगरेणं तं चेव जाव पज्जवासइ धम्मकहाए जाव।
(ख) इसके पश्चात् चित्त सारथी ने (शुभ संवाद देने की खुशी में) उन उद्यानपालकों
को विपुल वस्त्र, गंध, माला, अलकारों से सत्कार-सन्मान किया तथा जीविका-योग्य * विपुल प्रीतिदान (पारितोषिक) देकर विदा किया।
तदनन्तर अपने कौटुम्बिक पुरुषों को बुलाकर आज्ञा दी– 'हे देवानुप्रियो ! शीघ्र ही तुम चार घंटों वाला अश्व-रथ जोतकर उपस्थित करो और मुझे वापस इसकी सूचना दो।" । से कौटुम्बिक पुरुषों ने शीघ्र ही छत्र एवं ध्वजा-पताकाओं से सुशोभित रथ को तैयार कर के रथ ले आने की सूचना दी।
कौटुम्बिक पुरुषों से रथ लाने की सूचना पाकर हृष्ट-तुष्ट यावत् विकसित हृदय होते हुए चित्त सारथी ने स्नान किया, बलिकर्म किया यावत् आभूषणों से शरीर को अलंकृत किया। - जहाँ चार घंटों वाला रथ था, वहाँ आया और रथ पर आरूढ होकर कोरंट पुष्पो की
मालाओ से युक्त छत्र को धारण कर विशाल सुभटो को साथ लेकर रवाना हुआ। उद्यान में पहुंचकर केशीकुमार श्रमण की पर्युपासना करने लगा। केशीकुमार श्रमण ने धर्मोपदेश दिया।

Thereafter he called the heads of the family and ordered them “O the blessed ! Kindly present quickly the four-belled horse-driven chariot ready to move. Please intimate me after compliance."
The servants soon made the chariot ready fitted with umbrella, the flag, the buntings and intimated to Chitta.
After hearing the compliance of his orders, feeling happy and with a joyous heart, Chitta Saarthi took his bath, decorated himself with auspicious symbols and ornaments. He then came to the place
where the four-belled chariot was standing. He got into * the umbrella bearing garlands of Korant flowers and started along
