(lake) in the south. He picked up mop of peacock feathers and a cleaned the festoons, the steps, the wooden puppets and snakeposketches with it, he sprinkled divine water on them, pasted fresh
go-sheersh sandal wood paste and worshipped with flowers. He then decorated it with flower garlands and the incense.
He then went round the Siddhayatan and came to the Pushkarni (lake) in the north. There also he repeated all the activities including burning of incense. He then came to the memorial tree in the north and the memorial post. He cleaned there and repeated all previous activities. He then came to the idol of the Tirthankar at the gemmed-stool in the west. There also he repeated all the previous activities including burning of incense.
(ङ) जेणेव उत्तरिल्ले पेच्छाघरमंडवे तेणेव उवागच्छति जा चेव दाहिणिल्लवत्तव्वया सा चेव सव्वा पुरथिमिल्ले दारे, दाहिणिल्ला खंभपंती तं चेव सव्वं।
जेणेव उत्तरिल्ले मुहमंडवे जेणेव उत्तरिल्लस्स मुहमंडवस्स बहुमज्झदेसभाए तं चेव ॐ सवं, पच्चत्थिमिल्ले दारे तेणेव। उत्तरिल्ले दारे दाहिणिल्ला खंभपंती सेसं तं चेव सव्वं।

(ङ) तत्पश्चात् वह उत्तर दिशा के प्रेक्षागृह मण्डप में आया और दक्षिण दिशा के प्रेक्षागृह मण्डप जैसा समस्त कार्य यहाँ किया। वहीं सब कार्य पूर्व दिशावर्ती द्वार के लिए
और दक्षिण दिशा की स्तम्भ-पक्ति के लिए भी किये। ___ इसके बाद वह उत्तर दिशा में जहाँ मुखमण्डप था, उसके मुखमण्डप के बिलकुल मध्य
भाग में आया। यहाँ आकर पूर्ववत् सब कार्य किये। इसके बाद वह पश्चिमी द्वार पर आया, वहाँ पर भी द्वार-शाखाओं आदि के प्रमार्जनादि सब कार्य किये। तत्पश्चात् उत्तरी द्वार और उसकी दक्षिण दिशा में स्थित खम्भो की पंक्ति के पास आया। वहाँ भी पूर्ववत् सब कार्य किये। तदनन्तर सिद्धायतन के उत्तरी द्वार पर आया। यहाँ भी पुतलियो आदि के प्रमार्जन
