सम्पन्न किये। उसके बाद पूर्वी द्वार पर आया, यहाँ आकर भी सब कार्य पूर्ववत् किये, तत्पश्चात् दक्षिणी द्वार पर आया, वहाँ आकर भी धूपदान आदि सब कार्य पूर्ण किये। ___ इसके पश्चात् दक्षिण दिशावर्ती चैत्यस्तूप (सिद्धायतन के पास वाला स्तूप) के सन्मुख
आया। वहाँ आकर स्तूप और मणिपीठिका को प्रमार्जित किया, दिव्य जलधारा से सिंचित किया, सरस गोशीर्ष चन्दन से चर्चित किया, धूप जलाई, पुष्प चढाये, मालाएँ लटकाईं आदि सब कार्य सम्पन्न किये।

of peacock feathers and cleaned the stage, the gemmed table and en the seat, sprinkled divine water on them, pasted fresh go-sheershot sandal paste, burnt the incense and worshipped with flowers. He then decorated them with round-shaped garlands.
He then repeated all the above at the western gate of the southern hall for spectator and thereafter at the northern gate of the said hall. He then came to the eastern gate and repeated all the best above activities and thereafter came to the southern gate and there also repeated all the above activities namely burning of incense and others.
Thereafter he came to the southern post near the Siddhayatan. He cleaned the post and the gemmed table (Mani-peethika), sprinkled divine water on it, pasted fresh go-sheersh sandal paste on it, burnt the incense, worshipped with flowers, hung the is garlands and thus completed all the above said activities.
