अष्ट मंगलाकृति में नाट्य-रचना सूर्याभदेव की आज्ञानुसार देव कुमार एव देव कुमारियाँ हाथो मे विविध प्रकार के वाद्य यत्र लेकर गाते, बजाते, थिरकते हुए अनेक प्रकार के नृत्य नाटिकाएँ रचाते है। फिर अष्ट मगल की आकृति बनाकर अत्यन्त रम्य-मनमोहक दिव्य अभिनय करने लगते है। कुछ भद्रासन की आकृति मे, कुछ कलशाकृति मे, कुछ स्वस्तिकाकृति मे, कुछ श्रीवत्स की आकृति मे तो कुछ दर्पण आदि अन्य आकृतियो मे अद्भुत शरीर लाघव दिखाते हुए अभिनय करते है।
