ज्ञाताधर्मकथांग सूत्र डा 5 तव-नियम-बंभचेरवासस्स कल्लाणे फलवित्तिविसेसे अत्थि, तो णं अहमवि आगमिस्सेण ट र भवग्गहणेणं इमेयारूवाइं उरालाइं जाव विहरिज्जामि' त्ति कट्ट नियाणं करेइ, करित्ताड 5 आयावणभूमीओ पच्चोरुहइ। र सूत्र ६९ : आर्या सुकुमालिका ने देवदत्ता गणिका को पाँच पुरुषों के साथ जी भर कर ड ए मानवोचित कामभोग भोगते देखा। यह दृश्य देखकर उसके भन में कामना जागी--"अहा ! यह स्त्री ट 5 पूर्वजन्म के पुण्यकृत्यों द्वारा उपार्जित शुभ कर्मों का फल भोग रही है। सो यदि मेरी इस सुकृत्य द र तपस्या, नियम व ब्रह्मचर्य का कुछ भी कल्याणकारी फल विशेष हो तो मैं भी अगले जन्म में इसी र प्रकार मानवोचित कामभोग भोगती हुई जीवन बिताऊँ।' मन में इस प्रकार की आकांक्षा (निदान) 5 स्थिर कर वह अपने तपस्या स्थान पर लौट आई।
69. Arya Sukumalika witnessed Devdatta enjoying all human amorous pleasures with five males. This scene gave rise to an ambition in her, "Ah! 5 This women is enjoying the fruits of the good karmas she must have earned a 5 by means of some good deeds in her earlier birth. So I also wish to spend my 5 next life enjoying such human pleasures if any beneficial karmas are accrued 5 as a result of all the good deeds and penance I am doing and the code of C
discipline and celibacy I am following currently." Having fixed this ambition Z in her mind she returned to her place of penance. 5 सूत्र ७0 : तए णं सा सूमालिया अज्जा सरीरबाउसा जाया यावि होत्था, अभिक्खणं द र अभिक्खणं हत्थे धोवेइ, पाए धोवेइ, सीसं धोवेइ, मुहं धोवेइ, थणंतराइं धोवेइ, कक्खंतराइंड र धोवेइ, गोझंतराई धोवेइ, जत्थ णं ठाणं वा सेज्जं वा निसीहियं वा चेएइ, तत्थ वि य णं टा 15 पुव्वामेव उदएणं अब्भुक्खइत्ता तओ पच्छा ठाणं सेज्जं वा चेएइ।
सूत्र ७0 : इस घटना के वाद सुकुमालिका शरीर की शोभा साज-सज्ज के प्रति विशेष आसक्त ड 5 हो गई। वह बार-बार हाथ, पैर, मस्तक, मुँह, वक्ष, बगलें तथा गुप्तांगों को धोती। जिस स्थान पर ट र खड़ी होती, सोती, कायोत्सर्ग करती या स्वाध्याय करती उस स्थान पर भी पहले जल छिड़कती दा र और फिर वे सब कार्य करती। 5 70.
