57. To a celibate, indulging in spiritual practices, beautifying his body, company of woman and richly nutritious food are like a fatal poison.
चारुल्लविअपेहिअं।
इत्थीणं तं न निज्झाए कामरागविवड्डणं ॥
५८ : अंगपच्चंगसंठाणं
ब्रह्मचारी स्त्रियों के अंग प्रत्यंग, संस्थान, मीठी बोली, कटाक्ष आदि कदापि न देखे, क्योंकि ये सब काम - राग के बढ़ाने वाले और ब्रह्मचर्य का नाश करने वाले हैं ॥५८॥
58. Those who are celibate should never look with interest at parts of the body, figure, sweet voice, gestures etc. of women because all these inspire lust and ruin celibacy.

५९ : विसएसु मणुन्नेसु पेमं नाभिनिवेसए । अणिच्चं तेसिं विन्नाय परिणामं पुग्गलाण उ ॥
तत्त्वज्ञ मुनि पुद्गलों के परिणमन को अनित्य जानकर मनोज्ञ शब्द, रूप, रस, गंध स्पर्श आदि विषयों में रागभाव न करे ॥ ५९ ॥
59. A shraman, having knowledge of the fundamentals, should consider the manifestations of matter to be transitory and avoid attachment with things with pleasing sound, form, taste, smell and touch.

६० : पोग्गलाणं परीणामं तेसिं नच्चा जहा तहा । विणीअतो विहरे सीईभूएण अप्पणा ॥
तत्त्वज्ञ मुनि इन्द्रियों के विषयभूत पुद्गलों के परिणमन की वास्तविकता जानकर तृष्णा से सर्वथा मुक्त होकर, क्षमारूप अमृत जल से आत्मा को उपशान्त बनाकर स्वतंत्र भाव से विचरण करे ॥ ६० ॥
