५५ : सुवक्कसुद्धिं समुपेहिया मुणी गिरं च दुटुं परिवज्जए सया। KO मियं अदुटुं अणुवीइ भासए सयाण मज्झे लहई पसंसणं॥
__जो मुनि भाषा की शुद्धि के समस्त भेद-प्रभेदों का पूर्णतया चिन्तन करके निन्दित भाषा को तो छोड़ देता है और बोलने से पहले ही हानि-लाभ का पूर्ण
विचार करके फिर दुष्टतारहित हित, मित, भाषा बोलता है। ऐसा मुनि सत्पुरुषों kkas में प्रशंसा प्राप्त करता है।।५५।। USE PLEASING AND SWEET LANGUAGE
55. The shraman who contemplates on all the attributes of pure and pious language, refrains from using bad language, considers the consequences before speaking and then, speaks
without viciousness and with brevity and goodwill, draws 2 praise from the sages न ५६ : भासाए दोसे अ गुणे य जाणिआ तीसे अ दुढे परिवज्जए सया।
छसु संजए सामणिए सया जए वइज्ज बुद्धे हियमाणुलोमिअं॥ __ सदा षट्कायिक जीवों की रक्षा करने वाला तथा संयम में पुरुषार्थ करने वाला सम्यग्ज्ञानी मुनि, पिछले प्रकरण में कहे भाषा के गुण और दोषों को अच्छी प्रकार जानकर, दुष्ट व कठोर भाषा को तो छोड़ दे और काम पड़ने पर केवल स्व-पर हितकारी एवं आनुलोमिक-अनुकूल मधुर भाषा ही बोले ॥५६॥
56. A sagacious ascetic who is ever indulgent in discipline and protecting the six classes of beings should learn all the qualities and errors of language and then refrain from using harsh and vicious language. When necessary he should use pleasing and sweet language that benefits self as well as others. ५७ : परिक्खभासी सुसमाहिइंदिए चउक्कसायावगए अणिस्सिए। स निद्भुणे धुन्नमलं पुरेकडं आराहए लोगमिणं तहा परं॥
