28. Those who like austerity, discipline, clemency and celibacy reincarnate as gods even if they get initiated in old age.
२९ : इच्चेयं छज्जीवणियं सम्मद्दिठ्ठी सया जए। दुल्लहं लभित्तु सामण्णं कम्मुणा न विराहिज्जासि॥
त्ति बेमि। सम्यग्दृष्टि और सतत सावधान श्रमण दुर्लभ श्रमणभाव को प्राप्त कर इस षड्जीवनिकाय की कर्मणा (मन, वचन और काया से) विराधना न करे।
ऐसा मैं कहता हूँ॥२९॥
29. A shraman with a righteous attitude who is ever alert should accept the peerless ascetic way and never ever harm the six types of living beings by any of his actions (of mind, speech and body). . . . . . So I say.
उपसंहार
निर्दोष शुद्ध आचार का आधार है-अहिंसा। अहिंसा का पूर्ण रूप में पालन तभी हो सकता है जब साधक को जीव-अजीव का सम्यक् परिज्ञान होगा। इस आशय से इस अध्ययन में श्रमण के लिए जीव-अजीव का परिज्ञान देते हुए हिंसा तथा अयतना से बचकर विवेकपूर्वक जीवनचर्या का बोध दिया गया है। Conclusion
Ahimsa is the basis of faultless and pure conduct. Ahimsa can be turned into conduct only after complete knowledge of living and non-living things. With this in mind, the present chapter details the living and non-living worlds and inspires one to lead a disciplined life, avoiding careless behavior and harm to others.
