बहुत-बहुत प्रसन्न हुआ और अपनी कन्या को ले जाने की स्वीकृति दे दी। उन कौटुम्बिक पुरुषों ने सोमा को उसके पिता सोमिल से प्राप्त कर कन्याओं के अन्तःपुर में पहुंचा दिया । और उन्होंने श्रीकृष्ण को निवेदन किया कि
आपकी आज्ञा का पूर्णतः पालन हो गया । तत्पश्चात् कृष्ण वासुदेव द्वारका नगरी के मध्य भाग से होते हुए निकले
और निकलकर जहाँ सहस्राम्रवन उद्यान था वहां पहुँचे । पाँच अभिगमपूर्वक प्रभु को वन्दन नमस्कार करके उचित स्थान पर बैठकर उनकी सेवा करने लगे। उस समय भगवान् अरिष्टनेमि ने कृष्ण वासुदेव और गजसुकुमाल कुमार प्रमुख उस सभा को धर्मोपदेश दिया । प्रभु की देशना सुनकर श्रीकृष्ण
अपने आवास को लौट गये । Maxim 24 :
Then Vasudeva Krsna called the chamberlains going with him and ordered them-O beloved as gods ! Go to Somila brāhmana and beg this maiden Somā from him, take hold of her and put her in the harem of maidens. At proper time, this maiden Somā, would be the wife of my younger brother Gaja Sukumāla. Then chamberlains obeying the order of Śrīkrsna went to Somila brāhmaṇa and asked for his daughter. Somila became very much glad and agreed to give away his daughter. Chamberlains took Somā from his father Somila and put her in harem. And then they said to Srikrsna that your order has been fulfilled. Thereafter Krşņa Vāsudeva went through the middle of Dwārakā and reached Sahasrāmra garden (wood), practised five abhigamas and bowed down to Bhagawāna and then sat at a proper place. Bhagawāna Aristanemi preached sermon to the congregation, the premier were Gaja Sukumāla and Srikrsna.
