उसके पश्चात् वह उस (भरे हुए मात्रक) को लेकर एकान्त स्थान में जाए, जहाँ कोई न देखता हो और न ही आता-जाता हो, जहाँ पर किसी जीव-जन्तु की विराधना की सम्भावना न हो, यावत् मकड़ी के जाले न हों, ऐसे बगीचे में या दग्ध भूमि वाले स्थण्डिल में या उस प्रकार के किसी अचित्त निर्दोष पूर्वोक्त निषिद्ध स्थण्डिलों के अतिरिक्त स्थण्डिल में साधु यतनापूर्वक मल-मूत्र का परिष्ठापन (विसर्जन) कर दे। ___यही उस भिक्षु या भिक्षुणी का आचार सर्वस्व है, जिसके आचरण के लिए ज्ञानादि सहित एवं पाँच समितियों से समित होकर सदैव-सतत प्रयत्नशील रहना चाहिए। ___-ऐसा मैं कहता हूँ।

313. A disciplined bhikshu or bhikshuni should take his own or a borrowed pot and go to a solitary place where no one frequents or looks, where entering is not prohibited, which is not infested with two-sensed beings (insects etc.), cobwebs etc. Going to such garden or upashraya, he should squat at some achit spot and carefully relieve himself.
After that he should carry that filled pot to a solitary place where no one frequents or looks, which is not infested with beings (insects etc.), cobwebs etc. Going to such garden or burnt place (made uncontaminated with ash) or some other faultless place other than those prohibited earlier, he should carefully discard excreta.
This (prudence in use of nishidhika) is the totality (of conduct including that related to knowledge) for that bhikshu or bhikshuni. And so should he pursue.
-So I say. ____ विवेचन-मल-मूत्र-विसर्जन-सूत्र २९२-३१३ इन बाईस सूत्रों में मल-मूत्र विसर्जन के लिए निषिद्ध और विहित स्थण्डिल भूमि का निर्देश किया गया है। इनमें से तीन सूत्र २९३, २९५ तथा ३१३ विधानात्मक हैं, शेष सभी निषेधात्मक हैं। निषेधात्मक स्थण्डिल सूत्रों का सार संक्षेप में इस प्रकार है
(१) जो अण्डों यावत् मकड़ी के जालों से युक्त हो।
