be careful of these sources. These sources should be considered as
attachment itself and should always be observed carefully with the * help of deep contemplation. The process of bondage of karmas is
terminated when these sources are closed. The karma-less state is attained when the bondage of karmas is completely shattered. The author of this scripture has indicated—when free of karmas he has direct perception and knowledge of the world.
When we ponder over the wider scope of the word srota it becomes clear that this word has also been used for ‘parts of the body'. Acharya Mahaprajna, giving reference of Susruta Samhita, has said that it mentions about twelve sources in the human bodythe sources above are seven in number, and they are one mouth, two ears, two eyes and two holes of the nose; the sources in the middle are two breasts; and the sources below are penis, vagina and anus. Being instruments of pleasure, all these parts of the human body become sources of inflow of karmas. (Acharanga Bhashya, p. 288) मुक्तात्मा का स्वरूप
