COMMENTARY. Pratyabhijñanumănē',-ie. Recognition and Inference.
In some places, the reading is 'pratyabhijnanumānam '; in which case the compound is to be treated as 'Samahara-Dvandva'; or as a Karmadharaya, involving the deletion of the term 'sahita' (the meaning being 'Recognition along with Inference ').-(2734)

THE OBJECTION IN QUESTION HAS BEEN URGED BY THE OTHER PARTY, THROUGI IGNORANCE THAT HIS DOING SO INVOLVES SELF-CONTRADICTIONS ON HIS PART; BECAUSE THERE ARE ALL THESE (SELFCONTRADICTIONS), IF YOU HOLD TO THE VIEW OF THE ETERNALITY (OT LETTERS AND WORDs).--IT HAS BEEN ALREADY EXPLAINED THAT IT WORDS ARE ETERNAL, THEY CANNOT BE EXPRESSIVE ; BECAUSE THEY COULD NOT HAVE ANY CONNECTION WITH THE ORDER OF SEQUENCE (AMONG THE COMPONENT LETTERS) AND SO FORTR; ALSO BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT PERCEIVED AT ALL TIMES.
