In the scriptures of Digambara School, it was mentioned that Vi u Nandi was the successor of Jamb Sw m but nowhere is it clearly mentioned whether he was the disciple of c rya Jamb Sw mor of somebody else.
The scriptures of vet mbara elaborately discuss about Prabhava Sw m, the successor of Jamb Sw m; whereas Digambara scriptures do not provide any details about rya Vi u.
Digambara scriptures mentioned the name of Prabhava. Whereas nowhere in the ancient scriptures of vet mbara the name Vi u as the successor of Jamb Sw m was mentioned.
It is hoped that the scholars of both the sects strive hard to study the matter thoroughly and throw enough light on this issue.
