The rains over, Vijaya Dharma Sūri left Shivganj, proceeded with his monks towards Mewar, and thence, passing through almost all the villages and towns of Gujarat and Kathiawar, preaching everywhere, and causing schools and libraries and other institutions of public utility to be opened in those places where they were most needed, he at last reached Bombay on June 13, 1919.
