The Kalpa Sutra has three subjects : -The listory of the first and last Jina; the Sthiravali (list of sages); and the Samíchári (rules of conduct).
* The story of Nagaketn, who, in virtue of these ceremonies, revived after being seemingly dead, is here told before the comimencement of the Sútras; but as it adds nothing to the information previously given, I have not thought it necessary to insert it.
