Samantabhadra(laghu)
Author of an Ashtasabasriyishamapadatatpargatika. In the beginning of his book Laghusamantabhadra tells how Samantabhadra composed his commentary, called Gandhuhastimahabhashya, on the Tattvarthasutra of Umasvati. To this he prefixed the Devagamastotra or Aptamimansa. Akalankadeva wrote a commentary on the Aptamimansa, called Ashtasati. Vidyananda wrote a commentary on the Ashtasati called

A Chaturvinsatijinastuti by Samantabhadra, which is perhaps the book Pathak calls Jinasataka, is in No. 690 of my collection of 1895-98. In No. 684 of the same collection there is a Svayambhustotra, but the author's name
