Gunakarasuri
Author, in Samvat 1426, of a commentary on the BhaktamaraSee under Abhayadevasuri (the sixth entry) in Index of Authors prefixed to Fourth Report. His commentary is the one which Weber gives without author's name (the copy being incomplete). 2, p. 939. 2, p. 939. He traces his descent from the "brothers" Chandrasuri and Vimalendu in the Rudrapalliyagachchha. They were succeeded by Jinabhadrasuri. Hig successor was Gunasekhara. Next came Gunachandra, whose excellence as a poet is referred to. Gunakara was his pupil. Abhayadevasuri was the reigning suri at the time. See under
