But he had many other pupils, one of whom was Vijayasinhasuri. Our author, Somaprabhacharya, was a pupil of Vijayasinha. He was a contemporary of Hemachandra's, and wrote this account of the conversion of Kumarapala after Hemachandra's death in his honour. His book was composed in Patan in Samvat 1241, 5, 37.
