Santisuri
Author of the Prithvichandracharitra. He wrote the book at the request of his pupil Munichandra, in the year 1631 from Mahavira's nirvana, that is, in Samvat 1161, He was the pupil of Nemichandra, who was the pupil of Sarvadeva. 5, 117. The same order is given at 5, 125, where Dharmaprabhasuri says that this Santisuri consecrated as his successors, in the temple of Neminatba built by a sravaka, called Siddha, the following eight sages; Mahendra, Vijayasinha, Devendrachandra, Padmadeva, Purnachandra, Jayadeva, Hemaprabha and Jinesvara. He was the founder of the Pippalagachchha. 5, 125. One of the eight pupils mentioned in this last place wrote a Sravakapratikramanasutrachurni in Samvat 1183. 5, 23.
