Sambasadhu Author, in Samvat 1025, of a commentary to the Jinasataka of his guru, Jambu. Of the Nagendragachchha. 4, 90. He was urged to write this commentary by one Durga, son of Malhana, son of Parsvanaga, of the Bhattika country Sayyambhava - No. 5 in the Kharataragachchhapattavali. 5, 4, 121 and 130. Santisuri Author of the Prithvichandracharitra. He wrote the book at the request of his pupil Munichandra, in the year 1631 from Mahavira's nirvana, that is, in Samvat 1161, He was the pupil of Nemichandra, who was the pupil of Sarvadeva. 5, 117. The same order is given at 5, 125, where Dharmaprabhasuri says that this Santisuri consecrated as his successors, in the temple of Neminatba built by a sravaka, called Siddha, the following eight sages; Mahendra, Vijayasinha, Devendrachandra, Padmadeva, Purnachandra, Jayadeva, Hemaprabha and Jinesvara. He was the founder of the Pippalagachchha. 5, 125. One of the eight pupils mentioned in this last place wrote a Sravakapratikramanasutrachurni in Samvat 1183. 5, 23. Santisuri Author of a Dharmaratnalaghuvritti. Of the Chandragachchha. May be the same as the last. The manuscript was written in Samyat 1271, 5, 132.
