Jayabhadra Mentioned, along with Sabhadra and Yasobhadra, by Jinasenacharya, author of the Harivansapurana. 4, 171, Compare “For the space of ninety-seven years there were men who knew ten Angas or nine or eight Angas ; viz, Subhadda and Jasobhadda, &e”. Hoernle, in Indian Antiquary, XX, p. 349.. Jayarama Son of Vatsala and father of Suka, who was father of Malla, author of a commentary on the Kiratarjuniya. Jayarama's fame as a logician is referred to ; and he may therefore be the well-known writer on that subject of the name. 4, 22. Jayasagaropadhyaya Author, in Samyat 1495, of a short commentary called Vidhiratnakarandika on the Sandehadola pali of Jinadatta. He mentions Jinaraja (No. 45 in the pattavali of the Kharataragachchha ; died Samvat 1461) as his guru, and Prabodhachandragani as his vachanacharya. Jinabhadrasuri ( No. 56 in the same list; died Samyat 1514) corrected his book for him; and his own pupil Somakunjara wrote out the first copy. 4, 119, Jayasinha Papil of Paramananda, who was one of the three pupils (with Ratnaprabha and Kanakaprabha) of Devananda, who was che pupil of Santisuri, who was the pupil of Dhanesyara, who was the pupil of Chandraprabha. 4, 123.
