Garga rishi
Author of the Pâsakakevali. This, and not Pâsakâvali as Weber prefers, is the proper form of the title, which contains a reference to the supernatural knowledge of the Kevalins. Compare first line of our extract (Kevalajnânabhâskara) Our book agrees with that described at Weber, I. p. 269 (edited by Weber). These two Gargas may be the same. A Jain, 3, App. p. 212.
