Author of a commentary on the Pârsranâthâshtaka of Indra
nandin. 3, App. p. 264. Srutasagara
Author of a commentary on the Shagprabhřita of Kundakundâchâraya. Pupil of Vidyanandin, who was pupil of Devendrakîrti, who was pupil of Padmanandin. He wrote the work at the repeated request of Mallibhûshasa. 2, pp. 80 and 158. For this writer see Bhandarkar's Report, 1883-4, p. 117. Bhandarkar has there a Jainendrayajnavidhi by Srutasagara, at the end of which there is the same succession from Padmanandin. 'Srutasagara also wrote a Tattvarthadipikâ. His date can be deduced from a statement of Nemidatta, who wrote in Samyat 1585. Nemidatta's teacher Sinhanandin had the following lineage :(1) Padmanandin, High-priest of the Sarasvatîya
gachchha of the Mûla sangha. (2) Devendrakîrti. (3) Vidyânandin. :) Mallibhúshana. Teacher of Sinhanandin, who was
the teacher of Nemidatta (Samvat 1585).
