Empirically it is the Subjective reality or the Experiencer (sta) and Prakı iti or Nature is the Objective Reality or the Experienceable-(HRVI). The whole universe where in we live, move and have our being is the outcome of the unfoldment of this relation between Purush, the Spirit or the Subject and Prakriti—the Nature or the Object.
