अर्थो ह्यनर्थो बहुधा मतोऽयं, स्त्रीणां चरित्राणि शवोपमानि । विषेण तुल्या विषयाश्च तेषां येषां हृदि
स्वात्मलयानुभूतिः ॥

આપદરૂપ
જાણે,
માને;
શરીરને એ શબરૂપ ભોગો જણાતા ભયરૂપ તેને, આત્માનુભૂતિ થઈ હોય જેને.
That wealth is an evil to a holy soul,
Which is to many, an essential life-goal; A woman's gestures of love and loyalty Are like those of a corpse lifeless and filthy;
All worldly objects of sense satiation
Are just as venomous as deadly poison,
To him who has had the divine experience Of dissolving himself in his soul-substance.
