________________ Interfaith Services 6. THE MEDITATION All remain seated for The Introduction We have heard from the teachings of the world's great religions this afternoon. We have recognised that we are stewards - not owners - of the earth. We have affirmed the worth of each human being, and the values by which we must strive to live. We all fall short of these great teachings. Men and women can, and do, live without values, but, without them, we cannot begin to live well. Let us pray that the great ideals that we have affirmed this afternoon will increasingly be realised in the lives of individuals, and of nations, both within the Commonwealth and throughout the world. All remain seated. Sheona White, tenor horn, plays: Greensleeves Music: Anonymous tune, arranged by Stuart Pullin during which members of the London Studio Centre perform an interpretative dance.
