war, when children are born maimed through some wrong drugs, when murders and violence and all these terrible things take place? Where is this God of love? Why doesn't He stop it?”
It is certainly true that we live in a world of great turbulence and are besieged with every kind of problem, disaster, disease, and man's inhumanity to man. What is not understood is that free will in itself carries a tremendous responsibility. We are here to learn how to live, how to use our thinking capacity to create good situations, and how to develop the most ideal personality. If God could just intervene and cross the boundary of our personal free will, then we would simply be puppets. We could not be individuals in our own right.
