Impermanence of Life Just as a hawk pounces upon the partridge and makes it bereft of life, so also when the life span of a person comes to an end, death snatches him from life. Young and old, even the child in the womb, are not spared by death.
काम-भोग अनित्य काल बीतता जा रहा है। रात्रियाँ भागी जा रही हैं। मनुष्यों के कामभोग भी नित्य नहीं हैं। जैसे क्षीण फलवाले वृक्ष को पक्षी छोड़ देते हैं, वैसे ही अशक्त मनुष्य को कामभोग छोड़ देते हैं।
Pleasures are Transient Time is fleeting and nights are ticking by. The worldly pleasures are not permanent. Just as the birds abandon the tree when it becomes barren, so also pleasures desert a person who becomes incompetent.
