चारित्र विहीन ज्ञान चारित्र विहीन ज्ञान व्यर्थ है और अज्ञानी की क्रिया व्यर्थ है। जैसे पंगु व्यक्ति वन में लगी हुई आग को देखते हुए भी भागने में असमर्थ होने से और अंधा व्यक्ति दौड़ते हए भी देखने में असमर्थ होने से जल मरता है।
Knowledge without Conduct Knowledge is of no use in the absence of right conduct, conduct is of no use in the absence of right knowledge. When a lame man and a blind man in a forest are caught in a conflagration, both get burnt because the lame cannot walk and the blind cannot see.
