Mind versus Lucre Those who aver that the inflow of wealth begets a stable mind, whereas its exit makes for a nervous mind understand no doubt what is the secret of Lucre,* but fail to comprehend the quintessence of the mental being. The mind can never grow stable, unless there be a sense of contentment behind, notwithstanding the innundation of all the wealth of this world at one's door. If, however, self-contentment is assured, there can be no fear of the mind growing unsettled, even though all that wealth might vanish in a trice. This potential distinction between wealth affluent and mind contented, deserves serious reflection on all hands.
Child-Mind
The child-mind is like a mirror crystal clear, that must inevitably project the reflexion of your good or evil thoughts, speech or demeanour. Parents should reform themselves for the well-being of their children, if for nothing else. And those who do not, commit indeed a social crime.
*The god of wealth.
