Pandering
Pandering, employed to appease a person is like acid poured in sweet milk. A man is not boosted up thereby; he is only blown off to pieces!
Truth
Who likes not gold: All love it, but none would be forthcoming to catch hold of a red-hot gold-bar heated in blazing fire. Hence, while truth appeals to all, nobody would hail it, if proffered in a glass of odium. If you would present truth, proffer it then, in a cup of sweet relish. The glory of truth will not be attenuated thereby; it will rather be intensified all the more!
