________________ “This God is the perfection of my soul. I am imperfect because of the ‘Kashaya' within me. There must be born in me an appetite, a longing to attain this state of perfection, through the contemplation of that which is perfect. If you want to see God, you must first create the appetite in you. The keener the appetite, the sweeter the delicacy. A dull appetite will find the most sumptuous feast tasteless. Have you never been questioned by your soul Have you never heard it say: “I am your soul. I have infinite strength. Why am I kept concealed, imprisoned in this little cage of a body? I, who was there before birth and will be there after death, why do you let me skulk about in fear of death?" Who dies – the body or the soul? The body dies and rots, the soul survives and ascends. This faith in the immortality of the soul is what we mean by Perfect Faith or Vision. It is this Perfect Vision which brings sweetness in life.
