AN ÉVEN EXCHANGE A ROGUE, filling the lower half of his earthen jar with water and the upper half with ghee, was trying to palm it off on some unsuspecting customer.
On the way, he came across another rogue trying to sell a brass bangle gilded with gold, as genuine gold. The firsť one asked, "Would you like to buy this jar of pure ghee?” : "I might,” replied the other, “but would you be interested in this gold bangle?".
“Come, let's exchange the articles,” suggested the first.
“I don't mind,” replied the other.
So they exchanged their fake wares and each went his, way congratulating himself on how he had duped the other.
Is not the world full of such bargains ?
